Midwife

Job Description
 

• Administrate nursing care plan.
• Assessment of patient status, weight, height, vital signs.
• Carry out the treatment order, comprehensive mental, physical and personal hygiene for patients according to the standard procedures of the department and hospital.
• Assisting obstetricians in medical examination, treatment, and delivery.
• Consultation on health care and education for patients and relatives.
• Comprehensive care for mental, physical, nutrition, rehabilitation.
• Care for patients before surgery, during and after surgery (if any).
• Carrying out medication orders and monitoring patients during and after medication.
• Documentation as prescribed.
• Observe vital signs, put a monitor for fetal heart, contractions for pregnant women.
• Support and educate guide patient’s relatives about caring for newborns.
• Guide and support breastfeeding mothers, breastfeeding benefits, how to maintain milk.
• Make sure all equipment, machinery and equipment are clean and in good working condition.
• Inform Biomed engineer about malfunctioning equipment, document into the equipment diary.
• Work on shift as assigned.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers regularly.

Requirements:
 

• Have knowledge, experience, and specialized skills in midwifery.
• Priority the college level, Bachelor of Midwife.
• Have license.
• At least 2 years experiences working in obstetrics and gynecology hospitals, having worked in the Delivery suite, Maternity.
• Dedication and tolerance under high work pressure.
