AIH HAS SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC WORKSHOP OF OBSTETRICS - GYNECOLOGY AND SURGERY PRESENTED BY SPEAKERS FROM JOHNS HOPKINS MEDICINE AND LEADING DOCTORS IN VIETNAM

During the past two days 03-04/12/2022, AIH has organized two workshops regarding Obstetrics - Gynecology and General Surgery with the participation of Johns Hopkins Medicine experts, leading doctors and more than 200 physicians from the top hospitals in HCMC and nearby provinces in order to communicate, learn, exchange experience and update medical advances.




















 

Opening the workshop, MD, PhD Nguyen Ngoc Tien - Management Board Member cum Medical Advisor of American International Hospital (AIH) who gives the opening speech, emphasizing the importance to have up-to-date medical knowledge through the workshops. He also gives thanks for cooperation of Johns Hopkins Medicine International and doctors and specialists’ participation which contribute to develop medical knowledge and experience, meeting increasingly diverse needs of patients in health care.  

 
Within the framework of workshop agenda, there are 16 topics of 2 themes including "Advances in the diagnosis and treatment of Obstetrics and Gynecology" and "Advances in Gastrointestinal surgery - Hepatopancreatobiliary" have been presented by speakers who are leading doctors and specialists in Obstetrics - Gynecology and General Surgery from leading hospitals in Vietnam and John Hopkins Medicine.





















The International Scientific Workshop has ended successfully. The useful information shared by medical experts in these two scientific workshops has updated innovation in the diagnosis and treatment in Obstetrics - Gynecology and Gastrointestinal surgery - Hepatopancreatobiliary for clinicians, towards the most effective and comprehensive treatment and giving hope to patients.
 
The sequence of workshops belongs to the activity sequence of training, transferring and updating advanced medical understanding for AIH and Vietnamese doctors within the framework of cooperation between American International Hospital (AIH) and Johns Hopkins Medicine International - the leading healthcare system in the US.
