Knee pain can be experienced by older adults, young adults and children. Women are more culnerable to knee pain than men. To heal knee pain naturally, here listed some effective home remedies for knee pain:

Parsley seedsIt has anti-inflammatory and anaesthetic properties. Soak your aching joints in warm water that has a few seeds of parsley mixed in it. You can crush the seeds and apply the paste on the affected areas for instant relief.

Ginger whether knee pain is due to arthistis, muscle strain or injury, ginger is an effective remedy to alleviate the pain. Its effectiveness comes from the presence of anti-inflammatory compounds in it. Ginger can reduce swelling on the knee as well as the pain. Crush a small piece of fresh ginger root, add to one cup of water and boil it for 10 minutes. Strain and add a little honey and lemon juice.Drink two to three cups of this ginger tea daily until the pain is gone. You can also massage the affected knee with ginger oil two or three times a day until you are satisfied with the results.

Eucalyptus oil

It is easily available and is powerful painkiller. It has a relaxing effect on muscles. It increases blood flow to the knee area and thereby reduces inflammation and pain. Apply this il directly on the affected area and massage. This is one of the best home remedies for knee pain.

Camphor oil

It effectively relieves joint pain. It has a colling efect on the skin and relieves painn by causing some irritation on skin. It acts as a counter irritant. When applied, it causes numbing on the area and relieves pain

Heat and cold therapy

Using a heating pad to rest your knee when reclining can help to keep the joint from stiffening up. Wrapping a gel-style cold pack or cool compress around it can reduce pain and swelling. Alternate between cold and heat. Use cold more often during the first 24 hours after the injury.

Turmeric

Turmeric is an efective and natural treatment to relieve knee pain. Turmeric contains a chemical called curcumin that has anti-inflammatory as well as antioxindant properties that help reduce pain. Add one-half teaspoon each of ground ginger and turmeric to a cup of water and boil it for 10 minutes. Strain, add honey to taste, and enjoy twice daily. Boil one teaspoon of turmeric powder in a glass of milk. Sweeten with honey and drink it once daily. Another option is to take 250 to 500 mg turmeric capsules three times daily.
